Beast on the Prowl
So TWEWY does, in fact, cap your level at 100! EXP is now meaningless to me, but of course, the grind still continues. Day 6 introduces random taboo noise encounters, which means I can finally start getting Shadow Matter, which means I'm one step closer to being able to get more Scarletite. Yay.
Other than that, this is actually a pretty quick day to play through, since all you can really do is run through a linear route filled with NPCs under attack by the taboo noise, who you can choose to either help or ignore. This includes Sota and Nao, but even if you pick the "ignore" option, Neku still chooses to try and help. Even though Nao has already been erased, so there's nothing he can do to actually save Sota. Noooooooo!!!!!
As a side note, Joshua doesn't seem to know what taboo noise are. Yet again, I have no idea how much of what he's saying is bullshit. Logically, he should know about them...but he has no real reason to keep that a secret from Neku at this point. Who knows.
Here's today's secret report, which you can only get by choosing to leave Uzuki and Kariya to face the noise on their own. I had to replay this day a second time, since I foolishly chose to help them first. Sorry for trying to be nice, I guess.
I have finished Revision Two of the phone tracking app, which allows it to detect the Shibuya River. The Composer aims to use this device to convey the river's location to the proxy.
Before passing that knowledge along, the Composer needed to understand the Conductor's plan. As of yesterday, he felt confident in his hypothesis.
The Composer had encountered Red Skull pins everywhere the detector had lead - the same pins I created at the Conductor's behest on the first day. As I suspected, they form a prime piece of his strategy.
The Imagination he has filled those pins with is the same as that in the Player Pin: imprinting. They are set apart, however, by a single, major difference:
The Red Skull pins are made to imprint targets with the Conductor's will.
Anyone wearing the Red Skull pin is dominated by the Conductor's mind. The further the pins spread, the more people he controls. However, the Red Skull pins have penetrated less than half of Shibuya's Realground population in the last two weeks.
At this rate, the Conductor's strategy will end in failure.
How does he intend to penetrate the rest of Shibuya?
I will be monitoring his actions closely.
